Spring Flowers

Fresh from the field...  our seasonal homegrown Spring flowers.
Our season starts in March with deliciously fragrant Narcissi in white, cream and pale yellows.  We add wild Hazel catkins and evergreen foliage to create lovely early Spring Wedding centrepieces and fresh picked jugs of flowers.
In the polytunnel the blues and whites (and some reds!) of Anemones are the next of our seasonal flowers. They are soon joined by Ranunculus which we grow in shades of salmon, pinks, deep red, orange and white.  These are just perfect for Wedding head bands and flower crowns, buttonholes a
nd corsages... and where the flowers need to last well out of water.
We add delicate little Cornflowers and Love in the Mist, Orlaya, Chamomile and Ammi to the mix, and the lovely fresh green flowerheads of Viburnum opulus.
We grow Hesperis, or 'Dames Violet' , a native wild flower - beautifully fragrant and in white and lilac.  Our flamboyant and unusual Aquilegias are also blooming.
A Spring Wedding bouquet of fresh cut British flowers is full of fragrance, texture and colour.  We just love to immerse ourselves in the flowerbeds in Spring, cutting a glorious and truly individual selection for each Wedding flowers order.
