Our new shop is open! - 10 Jul 20

This has been an interesting season so far!  We would expect to be snowed-under with Weddings, frantically cutting flowers late in the evening, and spending long days arranging them into bouquets, buttonholes and all of the other Weddingy arrangements requested by our lovely couples.  The COVID pandemic has however put paid to most Weddings for this whole year, and we have turned our attention to other outlets for our flowers. 
It is perhaps fortunate that there has been a surge of interest in our gift bouquets and buckets of cut flowers.  In the early days of the lock down we were inundated with requests for our local contactless deliveries of fresh cut flowers, for Birthdays, Sympathies, and simply to cheer those who were unable to leave their homes.  It has been such a joy to bring smiles to faces, and we are so pleased that our hard work in the field hasn't been wasted.
We have also been asked to supply flowers for quite a few funerals - less cheery perhaps, but still well received.
Now that restrictions are gradually being lifted we are able to offer contactless collections from the cutting garden, hence the creation of our on-line shop.
Our workshops are being re-introduced as well - restricted to 5 participants at the moment, and carefully managed in order to comply with current restrictions.
So we look forward to enjoying the rest of the season and seeing our flowers go off to new homes!  Quite a lot of time is spent discussing Weddings planned for next year with prospective clients, and our diary continues to fill.  We will be offering Wedding consultations at the cutting garden, in colaboration with our 'cut your own' evenings, which will start shortly....  watch this space!
