Looking ahead to Spring... - 12 Jan 19

Some of our Spring bulbs are already poking through the soil, and the gorgeous flowers are eagerly anticipated, soon bringing a flash of colour to the field.
Muscari and Crocus start the ball rolling, with a whole succession of scented Narcissi not far behind.  We select fragrant and interesting varieties that complement each other and add freshness and a just picked feel to our Spring Weddings.
Flowering shrubs such as Lilac, Viburnum opulus and Spiraea 'Bridal Wreath' are added, and we forage delicate hedgerow and apple blossom, catkins and fresh wild foliage.

Our Ranunculus is grown in pinks, white and salmon, plus this year we are growing dark reds and clementine.  The full and ruffled flowers make fabulous buttonholes and also feature in many of our Spring bouquets and other arrangements.

Tulips are teamed with Sweet Williams and some Rosemary, in these pretty buttonholes.
And the Bridesmaid posies have Ranunculus with fragrant Hesperis and touches of Aquilegia.

We SO love Spring!
