Following our ethos of sustainable floristry, homegrown and locally sourced foliage was cut and gathered for this years' workshops.
Local Spruce from Catsfield Christmas Tree Farm plus Euonymous, Bay, Holly, berried Ivy, Griselinia and conifer.
We were so pleased that Blackstock Estate agreed to letting us use their lovely barn for the four workshops that we ran. Lovely refreshments and mince pies were served, and our students were tutored to make a lovely large wreath to take home with them.
Our ladies furnished their wreaths with a wonderful selection of fruits, dried flowers and cones, apples, teasel, cardoons, ferns and trailing ivy. Some natural hessian ribbons completed their very individual designs.
