More plants! - 09 Dec 16

Some new additions arrived today!
Young herbaceous plants, mostly in 9cm pots, but a few bare-rooted as well.  All British grown, from a nursery in Norfolk, and good strong healthy plants too.
We have five varieties of Michaelmas daisy, to give us pretty flowers from July 'til October, in pinks, blues and also a delicate white.
Some Eryngium 'Picos Blue' to add to our thistley bed - super structural flowers that are great in buttonholes and Bouquets for Weddings.  And Astrantia 'Gill Richardson' - a darker red, and again a fabulous little structural flower.
Some Geums in yellow and orange to keep 'Mrs Bradshaw' company, and a super Gaura called 'Siskiyou' which is more pinky than 'The Bride' and so delicate.
We also ordered more lovely scented Phlox - white 'David' and lavendar 'Franz Schubert'.  These are bare-rooted and are the best we have seen!  Strong roots and several buds on each plant.  These have been temporarily planted in crates of compost until the ground is weeded and ready for them.  Better get digging!
