Looking forward to Spring... - 30 Jan 20

Our polytunnel is full of promise for a great Wedding flowers season ahead...
We have trays and modules of seedlings on our trestle tables for planting outside when the weather is warmer - hardy annuals such as lacey Ammi and Daucus, Cornflowers in pinks, blues and white, delicate Orlaya, and dainty Scabious.
The polytunnel beds are packed full of early flowering plants - gorgeous Ranunculus, blowsy and colourful, a great flower for Wedding bouquets and buttonholes.
Anemones are also a great favourite of ours, in blues, white and some dark red, all with a dark eye.
Our Sweet peas have just been planted in one of the polytunnel beds, and we expect them to be flowering in time for April/May Weddings.  They are full of fragrance, and always very popular flowers to grow for Spring Weddings.
