Saturday 28th March
and Saturday 16th May... 10 til 1
These informative sessions held at our cutting garden in Spring, will provide all you need to know to get started on your own cutting patch, and fill your house with homegrown flowers. *****
Starting with a tour around our paddock, we go on to discuss layout, bed size, plant selection, weed control, cutting, and care of the patch through the year. We consider successional sowing, and selecting a good mix of plants to give a long season of flowers to cut.
During the March session there will be a hands on session sowing seeds and/or planting Ranunculus claws in a large module tray, which you can take home to germinate and plant out in your garden.
In the May workshop we will cover Chrysanthemum and/or Dahlia propogation by cuttings, and you will be able to take some cuttings home to root and grow on.
Cost £45 per person - incl refreshments and seed tray/cuttings.
